Virho celebrated its 65th birthday at Radisson SAS on February 17th
2007 with a dazzling televised gala event. Proceeds from which were
given to the school of Heinätori who received 9200 euros. 250 friends and colleagues from all over Finland came, including the guardian of the benefit major Eino Siuruainen. The donated money was received from art auctions and raffles held throughout the evening. Artists who dontated their work for this good cause were: Aili Castren, Mary Jane Gregory, Harri Juopperi, Jussi Jäälinoja, Jouni Kesti, Liisa Lääveri, Matti Mikkola, Maija Paavola, Anu Pentik, Ville Ranta, Pirkko Räntilä, Marja Sarkkinen, Raija Seilonen, Riikka Soininen, ja Veikko Törmänen. The entertainment for the night included singers, dancers and a wonderful fashion show with Jukka Rintala Designs. A warm thank you to everyone who took part in this benefit.
